Fancy Navajo Coffee Meetup: Learning about New Mexico Piñon Coffee

If you have been following along on my Instagram, then you know I recently held my third coffee meetup at the beginning of August. I often get asked to meetup with fellow Fancy Navajo friends, and as much as I would love to say YES to every request. That’s not always possible. So Fancy Navajo coffee meetups are the perfect solution to spread The Fancy Navajo joy in person!

For my third coffee meetup, I partnered with, New Mexico Piñon Coffee to host my first out of state coffee meetup at their Piñon Coffee House in Albuquerque, NM. I knew my first out of state coffee meetup had to be in home state of New Mexico! Having my coffee meetup at the Piñon Coffee House was a real dream come true! I’m basically New Mexico Piñon Coffee’s biggest fan and I talk about them all the time on my Instagram Stories. So, I was beyond excited that New Mexico Piñon Coffee happily agreed to host me and my guests.

My favorite coffee in the world!

Piñon Coffee House

If you are unfamiliar with the Piñon Coffee House it is a coffee shop that serves and sells New Mexico Piñon Coffee in Albuquerque, NM. From their Biscochito Latte to their piñon coffee ice cubes, they add New Mexico uniqueness to the coffee world! They have two Piñon Coffee House locations in the Albuquerque area with plans to open another location in Rio Rancho later this year! Yay!! I am secretly hoping they expand into Arizona. To find the nearest Piñon Coffee House then head here.

I couldn’t agree more!

We met at the Piñon Coffee House on 4th Street. If you have never been to this location please do. It is such an inviting environment and I love that it is place for people to come together. They have plenty of seating and a shopping display with all thing’s piñon and New Mexico Piñon Coffee. I was eyeing their pastry display which had an assortment of New Mexico themed pastries like biscochito donuts and green chile pastries. Yum! They even have a drive thru to curb those quick Piñon Coffee cravings.

I took a few bags of these home!

If that made you hungry them make sure to check out how I recreated New Mexico Piñon Coffee’s Biscochito latte using New Mexico Piñon Coffee Cold Brew Concentrate. It’s one of my favorite recipes here!

The coffee meetup at the Piñon Coffee House was incredible!! I’ve never felt so much love and appreciation for all of you!! As soon as my guests arrived I felt an instant connection with everyone. It was as if I was catching up with old friends. I LOOOOVED meeting everyone who came.  THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMING!!

What I love most about the Fancy Navajo community is that so many of you are doing incredible things!! From teachers to students, to fellow bloggers and photographers. All of you just AMAZE me!! It was so awesome to sit down, have a cup of coffee, and learn about New Mexico Piñon Coffee.

It was an all smiles event!

Thanks Drake for sharing some fun New Mexico Piñon coffee facts!
I love learning about coffee!

Of course, a Fancy Navajo Coffee meetup wouldn’t be complete without a few Fancy Navajo treats. I usually like to make Fancy Blue Corn Cupcakes but because they aren’t easy to travel with I experimented with Fancy Blue Corn Cookies. It was fun to have everyone taste test them. They were a hit and as soon as the recipe is finalized I will share with all of you soon.

Can’t have a meetup with Fancy Navajo Treats

I also stopped by the Pueblo Harvest Café and picked up a few pueblo pies. Throughout the event we did a few Fancy Navajo giveaways and I was happy to share some Fancy Navajo Scrunchies, Turquoise Hogan earrings, and a few other Fancy Navajo gifts. It was so much fun and I can’t wait to host another meetup in New Mexico again!
