Hi Friends! We have some happy news to share with all of you!!! I have been secretly working on a new project. Are you ready??? Drum roll…. I wrote another cookbook!!! Ahhhh!! But not just any cookbook, this time a KIDS cookbook! The Blue Corn Kitchen: A Navajo Story of Family, Food, and Tradition will be available on September 22, 2026. Yay!! The recipes are kid friendly Navajo recipes. There are even a few NEW recipes that will excite all ages! But you want to know the BEST part?? The story! It is a storybook about three generation of Navajo women. As a Navajo mother this makes my heart so full and it resonates with my life right now. The book follows along a grandmother, mother, and daughter and how they connect and make delicious Navajo foods using Navajo ingredients and cooking tools. The illustrations are by Natalie Schnitter and OMG they are all soooo cuuute!!! I can’t wait for ya’ll to see it!!
