So who here loves succulents?! Raise your hands high and proud. I love love love these little cuties. I am not going to lie the first time I saw these I thought they were artichokes. Hahaha…. But after I bought my first one, I wanted another and another. They come in all sizes, but the small baby ones are my favorite and the more oddly shaped they are, the more I love it.
To spruce up my succulents, I potted them in clay terracotta pots, because for one they were inexpensive, but two they are very versatile, which brings me to my next point. To add some flair to my boring pots, I decided to add cute faces to the pots and the plant would act as its hair. I had seen a post on Instagram a few months back where they had done something similar. So I had to give it a try.
I do a lot of my crafting on a die cutting machine, so after I found an image of the face I wanted to put on my pots I cut them out on a black vinyl sheet. It took less than 5 minutes to cut them out and stick them onto my pots and voila!
I couldn’t help but stare at my little creations. Every time I see them it puts a smile on my face, so I put them in my front entry way so everyone can see. I just love them!!
(If you would like to use the template I used for the faces, let me know and I will happily send you the image. If you don’t have  die cutting machine you could easily create a stencil by tracing the image and using paint or a sharpie trace the faces on. I bought my plants at local grocery store, and the pots at Jo-Ann’s)
