You do not have to spend a lot of money to have fancy Navajo style. That has always been my motto when it comes to my personal style. I have always been a savvy shopper and you can almost always find me in the clearance and sale racks! Anyone else? One of my favorite times to shop for clothes is at the end of season. A lot of times you can find great deals on clothes you can wear throughout the year, at a fraction of the price! Today I will be sharing which items I tend to buy during end of season sales and what I currently purchased.
What do I buy during end of season of sales?
When it comes to buying clothes at the end of a season. I tend to buy trendy pieces, basics, and shoes. I focus on these three areas because I usually do not like to spend a lot of money on trendy clothing pieces. Especially if I know I will only wear them a few times. This include dresses, fancy heels, or trends I see that I am not fully ready to commit to. I also look for basics that I know I could get use out of throughout the whole year. This includes basic t-shirts and jeans.
However, just because it’s on sale doesn’t mean I always buy it…
I actually have not shopped for clothes much this past year. This is because I want to be more mindful of the purchases I make and get the most use out of the clothes I already own. Over the years I have learned, that just because an item is on sale, does not mean I have to buy it! So, I always ask myself the following questions.
- Do I really LOVE it?
- Is it well made and will it survive the wash multiple times?
- Will I have to iron or steam it? (let’s be real here, I won’t do either)
- Did I read the reviews on the item?
- Can I style it more than one way?
- Can I wear it next year?
If the answer is, YES to all of these then I go ahead and buy it! So what did buy?
